About

Hi there. I suppose you’re wondering what this website is all about (otherwise you wouldn’t be here looking at this page!)

I plan on becoming a published author, and I have been told that having a website and a blog is something that successful authors do. So…here we are.

This is a writer’s blog, so there will definitely be updates about progress on the novels and other projects that I am working on. I might even post my amateurish character sketches. However, I also plan to mention other things, too. These things might include my family, my religious beliefs, events that I’ve attended, and other assorted life adventures. My intention is to avoid any political ranting and raving, but I might periodically post my own opinions about relevant news that I have heard and social topics that I touch upon in my novels. In a nutshell, be prepared for a fairly eclectic assortment of posts.

My goal is to be as inoffensive as possible. I apologize in advance if something I post offends you. Please let me know if this is the case. Communication goes both ways, after all.

On a more personal note…

I am a Christian woman and belong to a church in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). This means that I believe Jesus Christ is our savior from sin and that faith in Him is the only way to heaven. I believe that a person can and should be compassionate while standing up for what the Bible (God) declares is right and good.

I am married to a martial arts enthusiast (my husband has black belts in several flavors of karate.) We have two offspring, both boys. We share a house with two cats who of course claim ownership of everything and everyone therein.

Other than writing, I enjoy reading, singing, running, listening to music, drawing, watching anime and children’s shows, daydreaming and many outdoor activities…& etc & etc.

I have heard the phrase “friendly introvert” and I believe this describes me. I care about people, but other than church and family events I do not often seek out social activities and find them stressful and draining experiences. A party girl I most certainly am not! However, if you’d like to go for a walk on a nature trail or sit in a coffee shop quietly conversing/reading/writing then I’m right there with you.
