Hey there, friend! Happy Year of the Dragon. I’m certain great things are in store for us.

Last time, I said I would talk more about the Sages – the dragons – and the magic system of the Wyldling Dream series, but it will have to be the next post because I’m too excited about showing off the cover for the third book, Wyldling Armor. So I asked two of the Sages to assist with the cover reveal. Being the kind gentlemen they are, they agreed to lend a helping claw.

The blue dragon on the left is Hadrien Rainblessed, and Balthazar Phoenixheart is the golden dragon on the right. Both Sages appear and influence the events in book three, and other Sages are mentioned as well. As you’ll discover, the Sages all have a descriptive surname that hints at their primary Aethyric proficiency. Predominant scale color is also a big clue.
